Because of a bad match and too many new people with the inexperienced supervisor I didn’t get the contract, but I had a great time, met some great people and hopefully I will see them again. Now I have 4 days of vacation before flying home to Denmark and on the positive side the plane tickets were free and I’ve been staying for free down here.
I have learned a lot and it’s been great to be back on Crete after 20 years rehashing some of the memories. Crete is a Mecca for nature lovers, hikers and historians. And though I don’t get to walk the Samaria Gorge as it’s closed, I hope to walk Imvros gorge and I’ve seen the old town of Rethymnon and Chania. Learned some Greek, tasted lots of Greek food and wine.
Looking forward to see what is next for me.
